I also feel impelled to add that when you narrated the story of the attack on you, I came away with two main thoughts: you did your job, and your attacker was very lucky not to die. Sometimes things are just a matter of split seconds and that’s all there is to it. I hope you are feeling better about your service, because as far as I am concerned, you did a good job.
